When our mailbox platform belongs to a third party rather than Microsoft exchange, how does the client outlook automatically configure user mailboxes similar to the exchange mail platform?

OK, do it my way.

First, create a new autodiscover.xml file with the following contents (I will not parse the contents for the time being, assuming the domain name of the mail server is: mail.xx.com):

Second, you need to have a https web site to upload autodiscover.xml to the autodiscover directory of the site's home directory.

Third, create a new A record autodiscover.xx.com in your DNS system and point to the web server address above you, so that the link: https://autodiscover.xx.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml can be accessed normally.

Fourth, create a service (SRV) record under _ tcp of your internal DNS system, which is as follows:

Domain (M): your own internal domain is automatically generated

Service (S): _ autodiscover

Protocol (P): _ tcp

Priority: 0

Weight (W): 0

Port number (N): 443

Host (H) providing this service: autodiscover.xx.com

So far, we have all finished. After the automatic configuration of outlook is completed, please click the location tick below to avoid failure in sending mail.
