Add "sunglasses" to the lens and add ND filter to Samsung Expert RAW camera application

CTOnews.com, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) Samsung recently updated its Expert RAW camera app for Galaxy's flagship phone, adding a neutral density (ND) filter to shoot scenes such as waterfalls during the day.

CTOnews.com Note: Expert RAW is an advanced professional camera application launched by Samsung, users can adjust various shooting parameters, support RAW format to save photos, and provide a wider dynamic range.

Expert RAW comes with some experimental tools, such as astrophotography and the option to manually combine multiple exposure images into a single image.

The ND filter mainly adds a filter to the camera during the shooting process, which can be applied to the camera to reduce the light entering the lens and is used for long exposure photography in daytime or other well-lit environments.

For example, users need a slower shutter speed when shooting a waterfall, but in a brightly lit environment such as during the day, the final image will be too bright and overexposed, and the ND filter can improve this.

The ND filter is equivalent to putting "sunglasses" on the lens, preventing the photo from being overexposed while helping the camera maintain a slow shutter speed.

When this feature is enabled, you will find an icon in the upper right corner of the viewfinder that says ND, which you can press to customize the strength of the filter in multiples of 2 (from 2 to 1000).
