CTOnews.com, November 27 (Xinhua) according to Wal-Mart's official press release, Wal-Mart recently joined forces with streaming platform Peacock to launch an AI service called "Buy now", which mainly identifies items in TV programs through AI, and compares similar products in Wal-Mart catalogs, providing links for consumers to buy directly.

▲ Picture Source Wal-Mart CTOnews.com found that Wal-Mart has been working with a number of companies in recent years. Last year, Wal-Mart partnered with online TV giant Roku to launch TV shopping ads that claimed to be "no jump shopping" and linked some games in which players could buy goods directly.

And Wal-Mart's use of AI technology to identify objects in TV programs is also a fresh move for Wal-Mart in the face of the AI tide. When users suspend TV programs, Wal-Mart's product links will appear on the application interface, and consumers need to use mobile phones to scan QR codes to enter Wal-Mart App to place orders.
