CTOnews.com November 29-Microsoft today released a temporary fix to fix an issue where desktop Outlook crashes when sending emails.

Microsoft says it has been receiving feedback from users since Nov. 20 that using Outlook on the web causes crashes when sending emails.

Based on user feedback, restarting the boot, repairing Outlook, reinstalling the application, and creating a new Outlook profile for the affected email account did not resolve the issue.

CTOnews.com queries reported that the issue is currently only present for Microsoft 365 users and users using Outlook build 17029.20028 in Current Channel (Preview).

Microsoft said: "This issue will be fixed in a future release of 17029.20052+. "

Microsoft currently addresses this issue by reverting to an earlier version, where users can type "Command Prompt" in the Windows search box, right-click "Command Prompt," and click "Run as Administrator."

Next, paste the following commands into a command prompt window and press Enter after each command:

cd %programfiles%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRunofficec2rclient.exe /update user updateresolution =16.0.16924.20124 Related reading:
