Apple believes in its patent that it can do better if it dabbles in the smart lock market.

In the patent, Apple points out that the electronic device can communicate wirelessly with the lock accessory, making the lock accessory switch between the locked and unlocked state, while displaying the user interface corresponding to the lock accessory.

Accessories such as iPhone and Apple Watch can communicate with the smart lock, and after setting the personal identification number (PIN), you can switch the lock state and unlock state.
