CTOnews.com, December 11, according to the monthly KuaiBao data released by Loto Technology, the total number of Chinese TV market shipments reached 3.57 million units in November 2023, down 4.5% from October and 13.2% from the same period last year.

The report shows that in the second half of the year, China's TV market has declined by more than 10% year-on-year for five consecutive months. So far, total shipments in the first 11 months are down 6.6% from the same period last year.

Hisense (Hanzi brand Vidda) shipped more than 800000 units in November, winning the first place of the month.

TCL (Hanzi brand Thunderbird) shipped about 800000 units in November, a new high for the year and the same as last year.

Xiaomi (including red rice) shipped nearly 700000 units in November, ranking third.

Skyworth (Hanzi brand Kukai) shipped more than 600000 units that month, an increase of more than 10% compared with the same period last year.

In the second camp, Changhong, Konka and Haier shipped a total of about 500000 units in November, a sharp drop of 30.5% compared with the same period last year, and the combined market share continued to be less than 15%. The total cumulative annual combined shipments dropped significantly by 26.8% compared with the same period last year, and the cumulative market share decreased by 3.7 percentage points compared with the same period last year.

Among other brands, Huawei's shipments continued to be depressed in November, with annual shipments totaling more than 700,000 units, down more than 40% from a year earlier. The total shipments of the four major foreign brands Sony, Samsung, Philips and Sharp continued to be less than 200000 units in November, a year-on-year decline of nearly 20 per cent and a combined market share of less than 5 per cent.

Loto Technology predicts that shipments in the Chinese market will be less than 37 million units in 2023, down about 7 per cent from a year earlier.
