Shulou(Shulou.com)12/24 Report--

CTOnews.com, December 18 (Xinhua) the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE recently appeared on the official website of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Its mileage and energy consumption data have also been exposed, with some interesting changes compared with 2023 models.

Mercedes currently launches four EQE sedans, including the rear-wheel drive EQE 350 +, the all-wheel drive EQE 350 4Matic and the EQE 500 4Matic, and the sports all-wheel drive AMG EQE. According to officials, the 2023 models have an EPA range of between 225 and 305 miles, but official figures for 2023 models are not yet available on EPA's website.

All the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE all-drive models have improved EPA integrated mileage, except for the rear-drive version. The biggest surprise came from the EQE 5004Matic, which increased mileage by 38 miles to 298 miles (CTOnews.com Note: about 479.58 km), an increase of 14.6%.

2024 Mercedes EQE EPA mileage (compared with 2023 models):

The EQE 350 vehicle is 298 miles (about 479.58 km, down 7 miles or 2.3% from 305 miles).

EQE 350 4Matic:280 miles (approximately 450.62 km, an increase of 20 miles or 7.7%, up from 260 miles)

EQE 500 4Matic:298 miles (approximately 479.58 km, an increase of 38 miles or 14.6%, up from 260 miles)

AMG EQE 4Matic+:230 miles (about 370.15 km, an increase of 5 miles or 2.2%, up from 225 miles)

It is not clear what improvements have been made to the 2024 models. Mercedes-Benz's online configurator still offers only 2023 models, but it seems that there may be some optimizations in all-wheel drive power systems and batteries. Previously, all EQE had a battery capacity of 90.6 kilowatt hours.

The energy consumption (including charging loss) of the 2024 EQE 350 + is estimated at 96 MPGe or 351Wh/ miles. The all-wheel drive EQE 350 4Matic consumes slightly more than 6.5%, at 90 MPGe: 374Wh per mile, but the more powerful EQE 500 4Matic consumes the same energy as the EQE 350 +.

The sporty AMG EQE 4Matic + is the most power-hungry, consuming about 462 Wh (73 MPGe) per mile, higher than the equivalent of the BMW i5 M60 or i7 M70.
