Shulou( Report--, December 18 (Xinhua) after a 15-month hiatus, Bezos's Blue Origin had planned to resume the launch of the new New Shepard rocket tonight, but now cancelled the launch attempt due to problems with the ground system and announced that the launch would be postponed.

In September 2022, the New Shepard rocket malfunctioned about a minute after launch from the company's private facility in western Texas, causing a bright flame in the engine, which immediately halted the system and abandoned the capsule. Since then, the rocket's mission has been suspended for more than 15 months.

Blue Origin did not release further details, but at least some of the payloads (and postcards) may have been left over from the launch mission in September 2022. The mission will mark the return of the suborbital rocket to flight.
