CTOnews.com, December 19, Beijing time 23:59 on December 18, an earthquake of magnitude 6.2 occurred in Jishishan County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province, with a focal depth of 10 km. So far, the quake has killed 100 people in Gansu and 11 in Qinghai, and damaged some infrastructure such as water, electricity, transportation and communications, Xinhua reported.

After the 6.2-magnitude earthquake in Jishishan County, Gansu Province, Alibaba announced the start of the emergency response mechanism, together with Ram Rescue team, Blue Sky Rescue team and other rescue forces to launch rescue operations immediately. The local demand for cold protection and warmth is high, and the first batch of tents, cotton-padded clothes and other materials donated by Alibaba have been urgently transported to the disaster area with the rescue team.

At the same time, Alibaba delivered more than 50, 000 boxes of emergency relief supplies such as instant noodles, bread, water and chicken sausages to the disaster area through the Xi'an warehouse of Tmall supermarket.
