CTOnews.com December 19 news, Adobe, Figma announced yesterday that the two sides agreed to terminate the value of 20 billion U.S. dollars (currently about 142.8 billion yuan) merger agreement. To this end, Adobe will also have to pay Figma a "break-up fee" of US $1 billion (currently about 7.14 billion yuan).

Figma expanded its team from 800 to 1300 last year and expects recurrent revenue this year to exceed $600m (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 4.284 billion yuan), up more than 40 per cent from a year earlier, Reuters quoted people familiar with the matter as saying.

TheInformation pointed out that while Adobe's termination of its acquisition of Figma shattered investors' and employees' dreams of getting rich overnight, as a start-up, Figma's business is growing faster than most mature companies, which could lead to IPO in 2025 or later.
