CTOnews.com noted that Google's own security team released the CVE-2023-7024 vulnerability on December 19, which has a CVSS v3 rating of 9.8 and is a WebRTC buffer overflow vulnerability that allows hackers to break the program stack and execute malicious code remotely.

It is reported that Google has fixed eight zero-day vulnerabilities for Chrome this year. Of the first seven, three are related to the browser's V8 engine, two to the Skia drawing engine, one to the WebP image format and one to the libvpx encoder.
