In the previous 10g version, the default password was not case-sensitive unless it was explicitly enclosed in "double quotes"

Today, after changing the user password in the business database, the login prompt user / password is incorrect. After checking the document, it is found that this is the problem. There is a parameter control, which is enabled by default in 11g version (case sensitive).

SQL > show parameter sec

Sec_case_sensitive_logon true

If you are not case-sensitive, you can change this parameter to false, and then log in again.

Alter system set sec_case_sensitive_logon=false
