RNAcentral is a non-coding RNA database developed by EBI, which integrates non-coding RNA information from Ensembl,GENCODE,LNCipedia, miRbase, Rfam and other databases, in order to provide a unified reference for ncRNA research.

For each non-coding RNA sequence, RNAcentral gives a unique number Unique RNA Sequence identifier, prefixed with URS, followed by a combination of 10 numbers and letters, such as URS0000000001, URS00000478B7, and URS numbers that match / URS [0-9A-F] {10} / regular expression.
