Rescue mode

Step 1: start the system

In the countdown selection interface, click on the screen and type e

Step 2: enter rd.break

Find the line at the beginning of linux16, end to the end, and enter rd.break

Step 3: ctrl+x

Enter ctrl+x to run

Step 4: remount the root

Now the root is read-only and needs to be mounted as read-write in order to modify it

Input

Mount-o remount,rw / sysroot

Step 5: switch the root

Enter sh, which is your real system.

Chroot / sysroot

Step 6: change the password

Passwd root (enter twice as prompted)

If you see successfully at the end, the modification is successful.

Step 7: exit and restart

Reboot

Step 8: re-enter the system

It can be found that we successfully entered the system using the modified password.
