Find man pages that contain emacs and vi in the man page name and description:

[root@linuxcool ~] # apropos-an emacs vi

Print version information and exit:

[root@linuxcool] # apropos-V

Print help and exit:

[root@linuxcool] # apropos-h

Find the keyword that contains who:

[root@linuxcool ~] # apropos who

Output is not reduced according to the width of the terminal:
