1. After the Hadoop2.6 installation is complete, it is strange that jps found no NataNode service on DataNode.

Check the log and find that the reason is that after hadoop is installed, it is formatted many times, and the VERSION version is different, resulting in different clusterid master and slave nodes.

[hadoop@master hadoop-2.6.0] $cat / usr/local/hadoop-2.6.0/logs/hadoop-hadoop-datanode-master.log

The log is as follows: clusterID of datanode does not match clusterID of namenode

2. Solution:

According to the path in the log, enter the VERSION configuration files of master and slave respectively, and overwrite the clusterID of master to the files of slave clusterID,slave1 and slave2.

[hadoop@slave1 current] $vim / usr/local/hadoop-2.6.0/dfs/data/current/VERSION

ClusterID= is modified to:

[hadoop@master hadoop-2.6.0] $vim / usr/local/hadoop-2.6.0/dfs/data/current/VERSION

ClusterID=CID-e2b9d454-1616-4294-98f5-2c9cddc9f186

Keep the two in line

3. Then restart, execute jps after startup, view the process, and the DataNode service starts.

[hadoop@slave2 current] $jps

15184 Jps

15028 DataNode

2488 NodeManager
