The first flight of vertical take-off and landing fixed-wing UAV F120 emergency communication test was successful, realizing signal coverage of 4 km radius.
CTOnews.com, November 24, @ Aviation Industry announced that on November 19, the F120 vertical take-off and landing fixed-wing UAV from the Aviation Industry Jincheng successfully flew in the emergency communications test flight of Jingmen Zhanghe Airport.
The F120 flight test verified the flight performance of the equipment mounted on the flight platform, the power supply system capability of the platform mounted base station and Satong, the communication ability and electromagnetic compatibility of the platform mounted base station and Satong, and achieved signal coverage of a radius of 4 km by mounting the mobile base station, which fully verified the flight ability of the F120 flight platform to achieve full load after weight loss optimization.
CTOnews.com Note: emergency communications are mainly used in scenarios where large-area communication interruptions are caused by natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods. UAV can get rid of the shackles of optical cable and electric power, and realize all-weather, all-time and cross-regional communication guarantee through Asia-Pacific 6D communication satellite.
