According to Sweeney,"Sony actually has an agreement with all developers that if developers want to list their games on the PlayStation platform, they must ensure that the PlayStation platform price is the lowest price, and the game price on other online platforms cannot be lower than this price."

Tim Sweeney claims that this is also why Epic cannot arbitrarily reduce the price of items in Fortnite, and although Sony is an Epic Games shareholder, this most-favored-party policy "is indeed true."
