CTOnews.com, Nov. 28, Apple Vision Pro is expected to launch in the United States at the beginning of 2024, followed by the UK and Canada markets. DigitTimes reported that Apple's supply chain has begun to prepare for the production plan of the second-generation Apple Vision Pro.

It is said that the second generation of Vision Pro will include four models, two of which have been identified: one will be aimed at the high-end market like the first generation, and the other will be an affordable version.

According to sources, the material cost of this inexpensive version of BOM is only 50% of that of the first-generation product; the second-generation Vision Pro will start proofing in the second quarter of 2024 and is expected to be available in the second half of 2025 at the earliest. In addition, Apple is also developing AR glasses.

According to Interface News, Apple will officially mass-produce the first-generation MR Vision Pro in December, with an initial shipment of about 400000 units, with a sales target of 1 million in 2024 and 10 million in the third year.

After investigation and statistics, the reporter found that unlike the low proportion of mainland parts in the previous iPhone 15 series products, the proportion of Apple's Vision Pro supply chain in mainland China has greatly increased to about 60%.
