The report says 2023Q3 PC GPU shipped 7190 million pieces, up 16.8% from the previous month and down 5% from the same period last year.

CTOnews.com, December 5, according to the latest statistics released by market research firm Jon Peddie Research, global PC GPU shipments in the third quarter of 2023 were 7190 million pieces, an increase of 16.8% month-on-month, a moderate decline of 5% from the same period last year, and a narrower year-on-year decline, the lowest in the past five years.

The agency estimates that PC GPU will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 4.18 per cent between 2022 and 2026, approaching 5 billion tablets at the end of the forecast period, and that the penetration rate of Duxian in PC will reach 30 per cent over the next five years.

By brand, AMD's market share rose 2.4 percent from the previous quarter, Intel fell 3.7 percent, and Nvidia increased 1.3 percent.

Overall, GPU unit shipments increased by 16.8 per cent over the previous quarter. Shipments of AMD increased by 36.6%, Intel by 10.4% and Nvidia by 25.2%.

The overall connection rate of GPU in PC (including integrated and stand-alone GPU, desktops, laptops, and workstations) was 117% in the quarter, an increase of 1.6% over the previous quarter.

The desktop graphics card AIB (AIB with stand-alone GPU) increased by 37.4% compared to the previous quarter.

Flat panel shipments increased by 6.1% month-on-month

The overall PC CPU market grew by 15.2% month-on-month, down 6.0% from the same period last year.
