Acer announced the new Aspire Vero 16 notebook: equipped with Core Ultra processor, focusing on environmental protection.

CTOnews.com news on December 6, Acer today announced the new Aspire Vero 16 notebook. The laptop will use the new Core Ultra processor, and starting with this model, the Vero series of notebooks will be carbon neutral.

Color, material and surface coating: compared with the first generation of products using 30% recycled plastic, the new laptop shell is made of more than 60% recycled plastic, and the surface does not contain volatile organic compounds, paints or additives. The trackpad surface is made of recycled plastic from marine waste.

Zero components: equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra processor, more energy-efficient than previous generations of products; the new Intel AI Boost integrated NPU, with extreme energy efficiency to drive the functions needed by AI.

Packaging: recycle the waste generated during the production process and use 100% recyclable packaging to reduce the carbon footprint. In addition, through careful design, 100% recycled cartons certified by FSC can be easily used for various purposes.

Transport logistics: Acer has worked with logistics suppliers to adopt biofuel solutions on a number of routes to reduce emissions from standard seaborne containers.

Usage phase: AcerSense battery management software focuses on energy efficiency and offers four efficiency modes: "Energy Saving +", "Energy Saving", "balance" and "efficiency".

Recovery and maintenance: the fuselage uses standard screws, which can be easily disassembled, repaired, upgraded or recycled.
