CTOnews.com, December 7 (Xinhua)-- Anker recently issued a statement announcing the upcoming launch of a new Qi2 wireless charger that will provide faster 15W charging capacity for Apple's iPhone 13, iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 series models.

In an interview with The Verge, Paul Golden of the Wireless charging Alliance (WPC), which is responsible for developing, managing and maintaining Qi2 specifications, said that six companies' brand products have been certified:

Anke (Anker)

Belkin (Belkin)

BH-EVS

Shenzhen Jinxin Microelectronics Co., Ltd.

Voda semiconductor

Dongguan Aohai Science and Technology

Anker spokesman Mary Woodbury sent an email to the media, saying that the upcoming MagGo product is the same as Apple's MagSafe brand, with a maximum charging rate of 15W.

Apple yesterday released an update to the candidate version (RC) of the iOS 17.2, which brings Qi2 wireless charging support to the iPhone 13Universe 14 series of models.

CTOnews.com Note: Qi2 wireless charging protocol is the latest wireless charging standard released by WPC. Compared with the current Qi standard, Qi2 uses magnetic power distribution technology, which claims to ensure a perfect match between the device and the charger, thus improving energy efficiency. Qi2 will support the industry to develop faster wireless charging technology while ensuring that the charging process is always safe without shortening battery life or damaging the receiver.
