According to the latest data from market research firm BCI, 28.71 million new smartphones were activated in the Chinese market in November 2023 (week 44-week 48), an increase of 12.7% over the same period last year. Among them, Apple ranked first with 21.1% market share; Xiaomi accounted for 18.3%, up 44.1% from the same period last year, ranking first among domestic brands and second in total; Huawei's share rose to 14%, and OPPO activation declined by more than 10% compared with the same period last year, ranking fifth and sixth with 13.4% and 13.1% respectively.

In the high-end market of more than 4000 yuan, the top three brands accounted for nearly 90% of the total, while Apple remained first with 50.8%, Huawei ranked second with 22.3%, and Xiaomi ranked third with 14.4%. Although Apple remains number one, it is facing a strong impact from two domestic high-end explosions, the Xiaomi 14 series and the Huawei Mate60 series. Its market share in the market of more than 4000 yuan has rarely declined, down 21.2% from the same period last year. The market share of other brands is generally low, totaling only about 10%, which has opened a significant gap with TOP 3.

At present, China's high-end mobile phone market is characterized by a significant head effect and the formation of the three strong patterns of "Apple, Xiaomi and Huawei". The rapid rise of Xiaomi and Huawei in the high-end market is rapidly squeezing Apple's share. This trend is expected to continue.
