Peter Russell-Clarke, a former iPhone designer, left Apple after 17 years of work

CTOnews.com, Dec. 19, according to Bloomberg, Peter Russell-Clark (Peter Russell-Clarke) left the company to join the space technology company Vast after 17 years at Apple.

Russell Clark was an industrial designer under Jony Ive, responsible for the design of iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and other products, mainly in the Apple Park campus.

Almost all of the designers under Jony Ive, the former Apple design director, have left the company, according to Bloomberg.

Ive left Apple in 2019 to start his design company, LoveFrom, and will continue to serve as Apple's design consultant until 2022.

It is reported that Apple is a major customer of LoveFrom and paid more than $100 million to Ive, but Apple terminated the partnership because it thought Ive could not work on projects it considered competitive.
