Senior analyst Soumen Mandal said:

China still accounts for 58% of the global pure electric car market, while the United States accounts for about 12%. Germany is the third largest pure electric car market, with an annual growth rate of more than 60%.

Pure electric vehicle adoption is also on the rise in emerging economies such as India and Southeast Asia due to reasonable price choices, and the US market expanded sharply throughout 2023.
