According to previous reports from CTOnews.com, the world's first 100,000-ton green low-carbon methanol plant jointly invested by Geely holding Group and Henan Shuncheng Group was put into operation in Anyang in February this year, which is the first set of carbon dioxide hydrogenation to produce green low-carbon methanol in China and the largest in the world. It uses hydrogen in coke oven gas and carbon dioxide captured from industrial tail gas to synthesize green low-carbon methanol, which can produce 110000 tons of methanol per year and directly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 160000 tons, realizing the resource utilization of carbon dioxide.

In addition, the green zero-carbon methanol, the main torch fuel of the Hangzhou Asian Games, is produced and prepared by Geely Holdings Group and provides technical solutions, and the transportation guarantee is provided by Geely long-distance methanol power heavy truck. China is a global leader in methanol technology preparation, transportation and methanol automobile application.
