The "S" may stand for "Sinope", which is the project code for Apple's internal 5G modem. Although Apple did not release the model to the public in the end, it gave the outside world a rough idea of Apple's internal naming of device identifiers.

A18 chip: it is expected that there will be a difference between A18 and A18 Pro naming. In addition, the system code section also shows that all four iPhone 16 models use the new SoC of T8140 (code name Tahiti), which is the A18 chip developed internally by Apple.

Starting with the iPhone 14 series models, Apple's standard version and Pro version use different processor specifications, thus widening the difference between the two versions.

The source said that the iPhone 16 series will use the same T8140 chip, but there will be a distinction, such as using the A18 and A18 Pro brands.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chips using Broadcom apart from the A18 chip, according to the information quoted by the operating system, the iPhone 16 series will use Broadcom's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chips, but there is no other information flowing out at present.
