Copy hadoop's hadoop-core-1.1.2.jar file under lib and delete the original file

hbase-env.sh

export JAVA_HOME=/opt/jdk1.6.0_12/export HBASE_MANAGES_ZK=false

hbase-site.xml

hbase.rootdir hdfs://localhost:9000/hbase hbase.cluster.distributed true

start

bin/start-hbase.sh

Enter shell

bin/hbase shell

//Create table, table name, column family

hbase(main):002:0> create 'tab1','fam1'

//List all tables

hbase(main):003:0> list

//Insert table, table name, row name, column family: column name, value

hbase(main):004:0> put 'tab1','row1','fam1:col1','val1'

//View information in table

hbase(main):007:0> scan 'tab1'

The//get command fetches a row of data from a table

hbase(main):008:0> get 'tab1','row2'

//delete Delete a row of data

hbase(main):009:0> delete 'tab1','row2','fam1:col2'

//delete table

hbase(main):011:0> disable 'tab1'

hbase(main):012:0> drop 'tab1'
