The digital signature can guarantee that the real content of the message will not be seen by the third-party user during the transmission, and the purpose of the signature is to let the recipient know that the email was indeed sent by the sender, not by a third-party user under the name of the sender. Because the characteristics of digital signatures provide authentication and data integrity.

The process of encrypting and signing messages:

Apply for and install a certificate on the exchange server

Create two users (xiaoming and xiaobai) for testing.

Apply for and configure the certificate on the client

Install the certificate again!

Apply for a certificate for xiaobai on the second client and install it (the steps are exactly the same, not shown here), and the third client does not install the certificate (used to simulate *)

Use the outlook client tool for testing, and xiaoming sends an email to xiaobai for testing!

Second client test (see no problem)

The third client does not have a certificate installed (cannot be viewed)

The operation has been completed, no problem!
