Thanks to Webupd8, we can easily transfer Tor browsers to Ubuntu and other Ubuntu-based OS via PPA (if you are interested in source code installation). Open the terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and install it using the following command:

Sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/tor-browsersudo apt-get updatesudo apt-get install tor-browser

The above PPA can be used legally in Ubuntu 12.04 and other Linux distributions based on this version.

Uninstall Tor browser

If you want to uninstall the Tor browser, use the following command:
