Hadoop shell commands

The command in hadoop 1.x is the hadoop parameter

command hdfs parameter in hadoop2.x

1. view file

hadoop fs -ls /

2. view file

hadoop fs -text /

3. upload files

hadoop fs -put /usr/lib/zookeeper3.1.6/zookeeper.out /d1

Zookeeper.out is uploaded to the d1 directory. If the directory does not exist, it is renamed to d1. If it exists, it is uploaded directly to d1.

4. download files

hadoop fs -get /d1/zookeeper.out /usr/local

Please download zookeeper.out from hdfs system to/usr/local directory.

5. create folders

hadoop fs -mkdir /d3

6. upload files

hadoop fs -put /d3/zookeeper.out

7. recursive delete

hadoop fs -rmr /d3

Delete the entire d3 folder in HDFS and everything below it.
