Some time ago, a friend asked me how to monitor the restart of the Windows process. The production environment has the startup and shutdown of the monitoring process, but the restart has not been thought of. After some thinking and exploration, we have successfully completed the monitoring. Here are the monitoring ideas and methods to share with you.

The first thing I think of is to do it through the process monitoring (proc.num) that comes with Zabbix, but there are two difficulties: first, the number of processes changes from 1 to 0 and then to 1, which can be regarded as a restart. It is not easy for a trigger to judge three consecutive monitoring data. Second, how long is the interval between the shutdown and the next start of the process as a restart?
