Lenovo releases a new patch for Linux to bring "ultra-high performance" mode to ThinkPad notebooks

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens Wu Yanzu in South China for the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com November 22, Lenovo recently released a new Linux driver patch for its ThinkPad notebook products, bringing "ultra-high performance" capabilities.

Mark Pearson (Mark Pearson) of Lenovo's Linux team submitted a new patch this month to improve the performance of some ThinkPad on the Linux platform.

After installing this patch, Lenovo ThinkPad notebooks can enable "Super performance Mode" (ultra-performance capability) to maximize performance by tuning ACPI Platform Profile files.

The patch message indicates that this new feature of the ThinkPad ACPI driver has been tested on the ThinkPad T14 G4 AMD model.
