Microsoft: only 3 mobile non-Edge browsers can upload files to PC

CTOnews.com, November 28, Microsoft has invited Edge browser users of Dev and Canary channels to test the function of uploading files directly from mobile on PC, making it convenient for users to upload photos from mobile phones directly to Facebook, LinkedIn and other websites.

CTOnews.com quoted the source @ Leopeva64 as saying that the new feature is officially called "Continuity" and users can choose to "upload from mobile devices" when they choose to upload files when visiting websites such as Facebook and LinkedIn.

After clicking this option, the user will jump out of the QR code and use the camera to scan the code for pairing. after pairing, they can open an Edge browser on the mobile side, allowing users to upload files without restriction.

However, if you use a non-Edge browser to use this feature, you can only upload a maximum of 3 files, and then you are recommended to download and use the Edge browser.
