In 19.87 seconds, "Flying Dog" HOUND broke the 100-meter fastest record for robot dogs.

CTOnews.com, December 14 (Xinhua)-- Usain Bolt set the world record of 9.58 seconds in the 100-meter race in Berlin, Germany, in 2009. Recently, another record for the 100-meter race was set, with a four-legged robot dog named HOUND running the 100m in 19.87 seconds.

The HOUND four-legged robot dog, developed by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), weighed 45kg and ran 100m at an average speed of 11.26mph (18.12km / h), setting a new Guinness World record in 19.87s.

Designed for high-speed movement, the HOUND quadruped can trot at 3m / s (6.7mph), cross grass, walk long distances and climb slopes of 22 °. The video attached to CTOnews.com is as follows:
