Shulou(Shulou.com)12/24 Report--

CTOnews.com, December 17, according to Interface News, Changshi Matsuyama, general manager of Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd., said today that Nissan is considering exporting existing internal combustion engine cars produced and developed in China, as well as upcoming pure electric and hybrid vehicles to overseas markets.

According to Nissan's previously announced first half of fiscal year 2023 (April 1, 2023-September 30, 2023), Nissan's consolidated net income increased by 1.4 trillion yen, and consolidated operating profit increased by 180.1 billion yen to 336.7 billion yen, with net income of 296.2 billion yen. Nissan has said in its financial report that sales in other regions have risen sharply compared with the same period last year, except that the Chinese market has been affected by increased competition in the industry and the accelerated transformation of local brands to new energy vehicles.

According to Nissan CEO Uchida's previous plan, starting from the second half of 2024, four new energy models will be launched in China.

It is reported that before that, there have been joint ventures to export its models overseas. Comprehensive CTOnews.com previously reported that Guangzhou Auto Honda announced the opening of its vehicle export business in the first half of this year, and the ODYSSEY models produced by Guangzhou Automobile Honda's Zengcheng plant were officially exported to Japan in the second half of this year and sold by Honda to the Japanese market.

In addition, Dongfeng Honda's CR-V and pure electric e:NS1 were also officially exported to the European market in May this year. This batch of exported CR-V plug-in hybrid models are shipped from Shanghai Haitong port to Europe.
