CTOnews.com December 18, Corning announced that the Chongqing factory has officially started the production of Corning gorilla glass, marking a key milestone in the local production capacity of Corning damage-resistant cover glass. Corning gorilla glass will be officially mass produced in early 2024.

Through the localized supply of gorilla glass, Corning will further support key local industrial chains and mobile phone manufacturers, and Chinese handset manufacturers will acquire locally produced Corning gorilla glass for the first time.
