CTOnews.com December 23 news, CD Projekt RED narrative director Philipp Weber and lead Quest designer Błač ej Augustynek recently guest Answer podcast show, said in the "Cyberpunk 2077" sequel, increase the impact of different origins on the game plot.

CTOnews.com Note: After players enter Cyberpunk 2077, they can choose from three origins: wanderers, street kids and company employees. Different origins only differ in the prologue, which has no great impact on the main plot of the game.

Augustynek said on the podcast that CD Projekt RED hopes to further enrich the game's characters and make players 'choices more meaningful, resulting in the protagonist deviating from his previous life trajectory and starting a new life with Jackie.

Weber said that different origins should have different plots, and this is one of the elements to be improved in the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077.

Weber said: "We hope to improve Cyberpunk 2077 in the future, and I think the promise made previously (diversified life trajectory) has not been fully fulfilled."

According to information revealed by two executives, the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, code-named Orion, will have more branching storylines based on the origin of the protagonist.
