CTOnews.com, Nov. 20-Activision's Infinity Ward Studios recently opened a new studio in Austin, Texas.

The new studio will also work on the call of Duty series and is currently recruiting a number of positions, including UI and designer. In addition, they opened another studio in Spain earlier this year with clear expansion intentions.

"Infinity Ward has opened a brand new studio in Austin, Texas," they wrote in the ad. "the studio will be dedicated to creating new and innovative experiences for call of Duty and creating advanced technologies to support them. Our studio provides a safe, trustworthy and powerful environment to unleash your creativity and help create extraordinary works."

CTOnews.com Inquiry found that Infinity Ward, founded in 2002, is one of the original studios in the call of Duty series, headquartered in California, with offices in Poland, Mexico and Austin, Texas.

Earlier this year, Infinity Ward set up a new team in Spain. The new team works at the studio headquarters in Barcelona in partnership with call of Duty: war Zone mobile game developer Digital Legends.

According to reports, the team is led by Riccard Linde, the artistic and technical director of Infinity Ward. "the new team we are building will take advantage of high-quality Spanish talent to focus on creating industry-leading, next-generation quality art for this series," he said.

Activision confirmed in 2021 that all of its core studios are working on call of Duty games and other projects. Infinity Ward's recently released call of Duty: modern Warfare 3 was released earlier this month, but it has received poor public praise.
