CTOnews.com, December 14, according to statistics from the second Department of equipment Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, from January to November 2023, the national shipbuilding completed capacity of 38.09 million deadweight tons, an increase of 12.3 percent over the same period last year; new orders received 64.85 million deadweight tons, an increase of 63.8 percent over the same period last year; as of the end of November, handheld orders were 134.09 million deadweight tons, an increase of 29.4 percent over the same period last year.
From January to November, China's shipbuilding completion, new orders and hand-held orders accounted for 50.1%, 65.9% and 53.4% of the global total in deadweight tons, respectively.
