Google Nearby Share changed its name to Quick Share after Samsung Services
CTOnews.com news on December 23, according to the source @ Za_Raczke, Google recently pushed the updated version of GMS 23.50.13 and sent a notice to users that Nearby Share changed its name to Quick Share, which has the same name as Samsung related services.
CTOnews.com previously reported that Google Nearby Share for Windows began testing in April this year and was officially launched in May this year. Through this app, users can quickly send and receive photos, documents and so on on Android phones and Windows PC.
Users can restrict Quick Share, including current devices only, current contact devices only, or open to all users.
Selecting the contacts option enables file sharing and synchronizes data with contacts in your Google account. In order to increase privacy protection, users can limit the exposure time of Quick Share to 10 minutes.
