CTOnews.com noted that Tesla's new version of Model 3 went on sale on September 1, with many improvements such as interior decoration and cockpit from Tesla Shanghai R & D and Innovation Center. The models are all made at the Shanghai Lingang super factory, which has upgraded its production line this year and increased its annual output to 950000. Shanghai Lingang Super Factory is also Tesla's major export center in the world. With the support of the "automobile bonded storage" business in Yangshan Special Comprehensive Free Trade Zone, Tesla has realized port-to-port production and port-adjacent export. In the early stage, a small batch of new Tesla has been exported to Asia-Pacific, Australia, Europe, North America and other places with foreign trade ro-ro ships through Shanghai Nangang Terminal.

In order to speed up the customs clearance of automobile exports, Yangshan Border Inspection Station has formulated the customs clearance safeguard measures of "one ship, one policy", including "one-time processing" of entry and exit procedures, "urgent handling" of batch boarding operation permits, and so on, to ensure that foreign trade ro-ro ships can operate as soon as they arrive in Hong Kong and leave Hong Kong as soon as they are completed.

It is reported that this is the second batch of exports of Tesla's new version of Model 3, and the subsequent export delivery volume is expected to continue to grow.
